From the time she was a child, Morgan Lloyd demonstrated a special aptitude and appetite for drawing floorplans and designs. Ultimately, she parlayed those natural lifelong inclinations into a B.S. Degree in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University.
Prior to establishing Morgan Lloyd Interiors, in 2007, she served in sales for a high-end, to-the-trade, designer fabrics company, and later designed hotel, restaurant, and retail projects as a member of a hospitality design firm. It that capacity, she completed projects such as Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bahia Hotel, Catamaran Hotel, among others.
Her subsequent work with a design/build firm working closely contractors in the construction trades afforded her a firm understanding of the concept of creating designs that could actually be built.
Her volunteer work includes projects on behalf of Ronald McDonald House, San Diego Humane Society, and Newbreak Church, and her projects have been published in San Diego Home & Garden, San Diego Union Tribune, and ASID Design Perspective.
Her own company specializes in kitchen and bath design and cabinetry, and she has projects completed in California, Washington, and Arizona. Morgan is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), and she perpetually attends tradeshows to stay on top of current trends and new ideas.
She enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, art, swimming, and traveling for new design inspiration. Morgan lives in San Diego with her husband, two boys, and their French bulldog.
